We’ve been very lucky with the weather this Christmas. It’s only a few weeks ago that the whole of Ireland was shivering in sub-zero temperatures and several inches of snow. On arrival at Virginia Park in the morning it was one of those beautiful crisp winters days. From the bridal suite on the first floor we could see the mist lifting off Lough Ramor and the preparations beginning for the evening reception down below, outside the marquee.
I am just finishing off the edit of the wedding this week but I just wanted to share a sneak peek of these beautiful photos here now as I know it’s Aoife’s first day back in the office. And what’s better than getting to relive the wedding day?
Virginia Park Lodge Wedding Photography – a sneak peek
After the preparations in the morning at the Lodge it was a short drive up the road to St Patricks church Lurgan where Aoife and Kevin had a lovely intimate ceremony. Afterwards, it was a quick dash back down the road to the Lodge for confetti, champagne and canapés.
The dancing mayhem later that evening was fantastic. It’s not often I get to hear ‘Galway girl’ and ACDC’s ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ in the one night! A little toast and my thanks to A and K for a great day and evening. These are my personal favourite images from the day!
