Exuding elegance and luxury, Tankardstown House comprises an impressive 18th Century Manor House & Orangery; a central courtyard of Cottage Suites, adjacent to the Garden Village. A real beauty in the Slane and Meath area some of my favourite weddings in Ireland have been here at Tankardstown. The evening celebrations at every Tankardstown House wedding are always a delight.
As a wedding venue Tankardstown is perfect, with amazing gardens, fabulous rooms for the drinks reception and then the Orangery downstairs is fantastic for dinner and entertainment. Located just a few minutes drive from the village of Slane, the venue of Tankardstown is in my opinion one of the very best in Ireland.
The following are among the top 3 reasons that every Tankardstown House Wedding is a unique, luxurious and exclusive event:
1. Tankardstown House is exclusively yours for your special day, and guests are welcomed into the Main House drawing rooms for pre-dinner drinks & canapés. These rooms are fantastic for documentary photographs of the drinks reception due to a combination of sumptuous interior lighting, fantastic natural light that comes in from the large windows and the layout of the rooms which all lead to each other around a central hallway.
2. The Orangery downstairs at Tankardstown House is an amazing backdrop for documentary photographs of the evening wedding celebrations. It has seating for up to 250 guests and features a beautiful rectangular top table and round tables with crushed cream linens and chiavari chairs.
3. Tankardstown House exudes understated elegance and luxury and provides the perfect backdrop for the wedding day of your dreams.
