Before Christmas I joined Hollie and Clarke to take their Old Inn Crawfordsburn wedding photography.
A Christmas wedding at the Old Inn at Crawfordsburn
It’s always an issue on everyones mind in terms of the weather when getting married in the depths of winter but with this being Ireland the weather can hit at anytime of the year! Driving up to Clarke and Hollie’s wedding we encountered some black ice and I even managed to slip and fall in the church car park during the ‘morning reconnaissance’. Thankfully myself and the cameras/car all emerged unscathed.
Winter wedding drama
The ceremony took place in Lisburn’s Methodist church with the wedding reception at the Old Inn Crawfordsburn. As a story-telling photographer I love a little drama – and so it arrived when Hollie realised that she had forgotten her flowers back at the house. Clarke was made to wait just a few minutes more.
After the wedding everyone travelled through Belfast and out to Crawfordsburn for great food, drinks, speeches and lots of fantastic dancing. A wedding day all around and I was so happy to be a part of it for a lovely couple like Hollie and Clarke
