Harvey’s Point was established as a guest house in 1989 by Swiss-born Jody Gysling. Over the years it has been developed into an award-winning luxury hotel owned and managed by the Gysling Family. Harvey’s Point Wedding Photography can take place in a number of locations around the hotel. The hotel is set in a fantastic location for a wedding, close to Donegal town and at the foot of the Bluestack Mountains.
The following are among the top 3 reasons that Harvey’s Point weddings are always unique, luxurious and exclusive events:
1 Harvey’s Point has been the proud recipient of the prestigious Weddings Online ‘Hotel of the Year’ award as well as the AA ‘Hotel of the Year’, Condé Nast Johansens ‘Most Excellent Service’ and most recently TripAdvisor Number 1 hotel in Ireland 2013 to 2017.
2 The lough side location is fantastic for group photographs and portraits of the bride and groom.
3 The dance floor is surrounded by a raised seating area which makes for a great atmosphere once the evening dancing gets under way.
The unique location of Harvey’s Point is lovely at any time of the year, from the beautiful light in Springtime, to the sunny shades of summer, through to the golden colours of autumn. Winter Weddings are also very special, particularly on a crisp, frosty winter’s day.
