Castle Leslie Wedding Photography

Dylan McBurney

Here’s a few notes on my favourite pictures from Roisin and Ryan’s Castle Leslie wedding photography on this one with two Nikon D750 cameras.

bridesmaid and the bride during preparations on the morning of the wedding

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 38mm 1/320 sec at f3.2 ISO3200

With the bride Roisin almost ready her sister gets a little emotional. I love this picture.

bride receiving perfume on wedding morning

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 70mm 1/1000 sec at f3.2 ISO3200

A beautiful home with lots of space always makes my job a little easier. I caught this image shooting in from the kitchen. Lovely in colour.

Father embracing his daughter ahead of the wedding ceremony

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 62mm 1/320 sec at f3.2 ISO3200

A very emotional Father embraces his daughter before the wedding. A lovely moment.

Bride arriving for wedding ceremony

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 45mm 1/1600 sec at f2.8 ISO 800

The bride’s two nephews had raced over to the car on her arrival at church for the ceremony. I really like this image of her looking out of the window at them.

Page boys playing during wedding

Boys will be boys.

Bride arrives at Castle Leslie for her wedding reception

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 70mm 1/1000 sec at f2.8 ISO 800

Arrival at Castle Leslie. A very elegant white Castle Leslie umbrella complements the bride stepping out of the car. I really like this picture a lot and it might be my favourite image of Roisin from the whole day.

Castle Leslie Wedding Reception

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 60mm 1/800 sec at f2.8 ISO 10000

The bride’s sister deftly places her hand on the cheek of a family friend. A lovely moment during the drinks reception.

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 50mm 1/640 sec at f2.8 ISO 6400

The interiors of Castle Leslie are fabulous for wedding photography. The way the light envelopes the guests is fantastic. This was the best man talking to friends.

Groom giving speech at Castle Leslie Wedding

Nikon D750 Nikkor 70-200 200mm 1/640 sec at f2.8 ISO 3200

I love this picture. The eyes tell you everything.

First dance in Castle Leslie marquee

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 27mm 1/400 sec at f2.8 ISO 10000

From their first dance – I just love the lights in the marquee. A fantastic addition to every Castle Leslie wedding.

A very beautiful image of the bride getting spun around on the dance floor by the groom.

Father dancing with bride during Castle Leslie wedding

Nikon D750 Nikkor 24-70 29mm 1/640 sec at f2.8 ISO 10000

This was a lovely moment at the end of the Father of the Bride’s dance with his daughter. I really liked how the camera caught the lights top left and how the light caught the back of Roisin’s dress. And of course, some extra stories going on in the background.
