Borris House weddings take place in a privately owned historic house dating back to the time of the Kings of Leinster. Every wedding has the exclusive run of the place with stunning reception rooms and an amazing gardens, Barn and Ballroom as a backdrop for your event. This venue is one of my favourite wedding venues in Ireland. It has real character and is a stunning place in which to throw an unforgettable party.
The following are among the top 3 reasons that Borris House weddings are fabulous, memorable events:
1 The history of Borris House combined with it’s setting and natural beauty is sure to wow your wedding guests.
2 The bridal suite upstairs in the house is a fantastic location for getting ready photographs with lots of beautiful natural light and an amazing staircase to walk down when you set off for your wedding ceremony.
3 The addition of the newly restored 16th century Granary Barn offers another option for ceremonies or as an area for Barbeque/dinner.
