About Dylan

Dylan McBurney
I’m madly in love with Caroline. It’s all true. We met in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1999 and married in 2003 in her hometown of Hennebont, France. The international love affair had stints in London, Paris and the home counties of England before returning to sunny Northern Ireland in 2002.

That’s when I realised I really loved taking pictures. My professional career began by shooting Irish landscapes and weddings. In 2005, I was thrilled to take part in an exhibition in New York with the famous American photographer Mary Ellen Mark. Since then I have shared my photographs in galleries and magazines around the world.

I’m a proud member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The WPJA is a professional organisation of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets us apart in the industry is our documentary approach – a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography.

I love shooting weddings. Most of all, I love capturing real moments and telling the true story of the wedding day. Your wedding photographs will become the memories of the best day of your lives together.

Please send me an email to check my availability for your wedding.

I look forward to hearing from you!
