Wedding Photographer Dylan McBurney and daughter
My love of photographing weddings stems from my memories of my own wedding to my wife Caroline. We met in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1999 and married in 2003 in her hometown of Hennebont, France. The international love affair had stints in London, Paris and the home counties of England before we returned to sunny Northern Ireland in 2002. We now live just 20 minutes from Belfast on the County Antrim coast with our beautiful little children.

In 2005, I was thrilled to take part in an exhibition in New York with the famous American photographer Mary Ellen Mark. Since then I have shared my photographs in galleries and magazines around the world. Since 2007 I’ve covered over 300 weddings in locations all over Ireland and in eight different countries (so far!).

I’m an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The WPJA is a professional organisation of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets us apart in the industry is our documentary approach – a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography.

I love shooting weddings. Most of all, I love capturing real moments and telling the true story of the wedding day. Your wedding photographs will become the memories of the best day of your lives together and I can’t wait to capture it for you.

Please send me an email to check my availability for your wedding. I shoot a limited number of events every year.

I look forward to hearing from you!
