Castle Ward Wedding
Notes from the Photographer
Here’s a few notes from my favourite pictures from Jade and Aidan’s Castle Ward wedding with outdoor ceremony in the sunken garden.
This was right after the first kiss during the ceremony – a lovely moment.
I loved this view of the whole wedding – taken just at the end of the ceremony as the bride and groom (with their baby daughter) came back down the steps.
There were lots of children at this wedding and I really enjoyed capturing their spirit and innocence. These two photos were taken during a break in dinner. The sunken garden at Castle Ward was deserted but the light was still beautiful and the weather warm – probably my favourite images from the early evening.
Of all the dancing images, most of all, I loved this picture – just the movement in Jade’s dress and the energy of the moment. I love trying to imagine how a dress moves on a real wedding day, particularly how the fabric might move on the dance floor. I loved this image of the dancing, although I could have picked several more images here.
“Do you want to dance little man?” A beautiful photograph of these two with the ‘falling over kid’ in the background adding some extra humour.
