I was thrilled to revisit my favourite Clandeboye Estate wedding photography last week whilst making prints for my clients.
This was a lovely wedding that many of my clients will have seen in my studio as we have had a sample album from this wedding on show for a few years now. I hope you enjoy looking through the slideshow below.
Clandeboye Estate Wedding of Claire and Ben – (Selected Photographs)
I was thrilled to revisit my favourite Clandeboye Estate wedding photography last week whilst making prints for my clients. I shot this wedding with my Canon 5D Mark II cameras I was using at the time. As ever, here are a few of my favourite photos with notes from my archive.
I really liked the light in this photograph. This was Claire and her best friend coming down stairs to put the veil on.
In this photograph I just loved the detail on the veil and the way the light from the bridesmaids phone helped ‘spotlight’ it.
After the wedding ceremony – this was the groom embracing his Father.
I loved this picture of Ben putting the engagement ring back on Claire’s finger while her sister signs the register. A beautiful moment.
I think they were laughing because they almost walked straight out after signing the register (forgetting one last reading and Christmas hymn!)
The ceremony was at 4pm and so when we came out it was already dark!
My favourite ‘posed’ photo taken in the hallway of Clandeboye.
Atmosphere! The ambient light was so low at this beautiful Clandeboye Estate wedding that the bridesmaid had to ‘spotlight’ the speech notes. I really liked this photo – gorgeous colour and of course, a wonderful reaction from Claire to Ben’s speech.
A first dance with the crowd looking on<./p>
I had shot this in colour originally but the black and white is much better – it just focusses the eye on Claire’s gaze to Ben. My favourite photo of the dancing.
