Ballynahinch Castle Wedding
Notes from the Photographer
These are my favourite images of Sara and John’s Ballynahinch Castle Wedding I photographed for them down in Connemara.
First of all, I simply loved this picture – it’s a great quiet moment amidst all of the drama.
Another great moment as Sara was getting into her dress.
Since there was a mirror in the room I just had to use it for a photograph and I loved this one.
Probably the most critical part of the preparations – fixing the veil!
I loved this photo of Sara’s friend holding up the mirror.
One of my personal favourite photographs of the bridesmaids.
A simple storytelling image of an important part of the ceremony.
As much as I love black and white photographs, I really like colour images too. Here, it was the charging of the wine glasses that caught my attention.
Probably my favourite image of the bride and her Dad from the day.
A romantic moment from the evening speeches.
Such great atmosphere since everyone was crowded in to the hotel entrance for the first dance.
I think I must have been on a chair for this one!
Finally, I thought this would be the best photograph to finish on. It’s almost a mirror like image from Lydia’s wedding a year before.
