Carton House Wedding Photography
Here’s a few notes on my favourite pictures from Anne and Gerry’s Carton House wedding photography on this one with one camera – my new Nikon D750 (with another two in the bag).
I liked this photograph of the three bridesmaids a lot – the position of the bridesmaid in the centre, her stance underneath the art, the fact that she looks amazing, and that the picture is completely unposed of course. It works well in black and white but it has a lot more depth in colour.
Simply a beautiful moment with Anne framed by the veil and the four poster bed.
I snapped this really quickly as Anne stepped away into the room.
I loved the high ceilings and beautiful natural light in this one. This is a very graceful and elegant picture.
A little bit of last minute drama with the hairspray – caught beautifully in the light.
Stepping out of the car – a simple image that could be from any era really.
I just love the arch of the doorway and the smiles as Anne makes her way into church.
You never know what the groom is going to do in these moments. This was Gerry closing his eyes for a second or two just before Anne walked in.
It looks like the flower girls dress caught on the page boy’s flower but not so – a trick of the camera!
I liked the kids in this one. As a parent of small children who wouldn’t recognise themselves in this moment!
I love this picture – a little drama in the clouds, some birds and a little breeze gently lifting Anne’s veil on the way up the hill.
I really liked the graphical quality of this image – very beautiful in black and white.
